What it takes to organise a marathon

Running a marathon may take you a few hours, but it takes organisers months of prep and hundreds of thousands of shillings, if not millions.

But behind that experience are months of organisation and millions in costs. The recent Blue Ribbon Father’s Day Run held in June cost KSh1.2 million to organise.
