Breaking into the entertainment industry takes time and dedication. Just ask Timothy Kimani Ndegwa or Njugush as he is popularly known, who got his big break from the television show Hapa Kule News.

Njugush went on to star in another comedy show, The Real Househelps of Kawangware, where he made a name for himself as a fan favourite of the programme’s audience.

However, his abrupt break from television roles quickly saw him looking for opportunities to continue his craft and make money. This is how he turned the character Njugush into a brand.
